From first call to first payroll.
Getting started with Praxis follows the same steps for every organisation. Here is what happens, and how the parts fit together once you're running.
Getting started.
We set up your instance
Praxis is deployed for your company with its own database. Nothing is shared with other customers.
Shape your organisation
Start from an industry template (microfinance bank, technology company, professional services or general) and adjust departments, teams, job titles and locations.
Add your companies and settings
Add each company with its logo, RC number, TIN and PenCom code. Choose leave types, generate the year's public holidays and set payroll rates.
Bring your people in
Import employees from an Excel template, then give each person a role. Staff sign in with Microsoft or with email and password.
Run your first month
Approve leave, record attendance, run payroll, take it through approval and download the files Finance remits.
Everything hangs off one employee record.
Each module reads from and writes to the same record, so information entered once is used everywhere it matters.
- Onboardingfills in personal and bank details, ID and signed policies
- Attendanceabsences and half-days reduce days paid
- Leaveapproved unpaid leave reduces days paid
- Loansrepayments come off payroll and settle when the month is paid
- Payrollpayslips and the tax statement appear in the employee's self-service
- Documentssigned agreements and receipts are filed to the employee's folder
- Exitfinal pay runs to the last working day
Everyone sees their part.
What a person can see and do depends on their role. A manager sees their direct reports; Finance sees payroll across every company; an employee sees their own records.
