Guide for employees

Everything you need is in the sidebar, under items such as Leave, My Payslips and My Loan. Your Dashboard shows:

  • your open requests;
  • tasks waiting for you, such as a policy to sign or a self-appraisal due;
  • announcements.

Clock in and out

If your company uses clock-in, use the clock widget on your dashboard when you start and finish work. If your browser asks to share your location, you can allow or refuse it.

Apply for leave

  1. Open Leave and choose a leave type. You only see the types you're eligible for.
  2. Pick your dates. Praxis checks that you have enough days left and that the dates don't overlap another request.
  3. Attach a supporting document if the leave type needs one, then submit.
  4. Your line manager is notified. You get an email and an in-app notice when a decision is made.

You can cancel a request while it's still pending.

Payslips and tax statement

  • My Payslips shows your latest payslip, your payslip history and your year-to-date totals.
  • You can download each payslip as a PDF.
  • You can also download an annual tax statement.

Loans, advances and expense claims

  • Loans: apply from My Loan. Your request is checked against your company's loan policy limits, and you can have one loan in progress at a time. Once it's approved, My Loan shows your repayment schedule, and repayments come off your salary.
  • Salary advances: request an advance from your dashboard, if your company offers them.
  • Expense claims: submit a claim under Reimbursements with a receipt. It moves through HR review, managing director authorisation and Finance payment.

Documents, policies and assets

  • My Documents: agreements waiting for your signature, signed agreements and your filed documents.
  • Policies: read and sign each company policy.
  • My Assets: the equipment issued to you. Report a problem, or request equipment.

Appraisals and training

  • My Appraisal: submit your quarterly self-appraisal here. Enter actual results for your approved KPIs first, then rate yourself on five areas and describe your achievements, challenges and goals. You can recall a submitted appraisal to edit it.
  • Training: see your courses and due dates, and enrol in optional courses.

Complaints

File a complaint under Complaints. You can choose to submit it anonymously, and you get a reference number.

Leaving

Submit your resignation under My Exit. Once it's approved, you'll be asked to:

  • complete a handover to a colleague;
  • return company assets;
  • complete an exit interview.

Your profile and security

Under Preferences you can:

  • update your phone number, photo, emergency contact and next of kin;
  • change your password, which signs you out everywhere else;
  • turn on two-factor sign-in.

Changing your bank details needs your current password. You and HR are both notified when they change.
